Batch Operations by File
You can modify multiple SIMs quickly and easily within the Vodafone Managed IoT Connectivity Platform using the handy Batch operations by File feature.
The modifications that can be made this way – by uploading a file that includes the SIMs to be changed and the operation required – include assigning a SIM attribute, changing SIM state, setting Device Group, and changing Service Profile.
You can use the batch operations functionality to create, edit, and delete both SMS Access Control Lists (ACLs) and CS (Circuit Switched) voice ACLs and to both swap ICCIDs and update framed routes for one or more SIMs; eCall attributes and eUICC profiles can also be managed/downloaded as batch operations, as can PLMN and POL attribute updates, and OTA updates.
As elsewhere on the platform, the batch operation options available depend on the permissions granted by your user role.
To complete Batch Operations by File
On the Vodafone Managed IoT Connectivity Platform home page or Dashboard, select SIMs or Troubleshoot then Operations from the left-hand menu.
Click on the Batch button:
Download the Batch file template.
Enter the relevant information into the file, then navigate back to the Batch operations by File window and upload it to the Vodafone Managed IoT Connectivity Platform.
