Diagnosing Connectivity

The Diagnose Connectivity feature allows you to execute a set of diagnostic checks regarding the Connectivity state of a particular SIM. The checks you can perform are: IMSI-type, SIM state, Provisioned services, Active session, Authentication failure, Session IP-address, Device wake-up notification, Data transfer directions, SMS usage, and Mobility info.

To diagnose connectivity

  1. From the menu on the left of the Vodafone Business Managed IoT Connectivity Platform Dashboard or home page, select SIMs.

  2. This takes you to the SIM List, where you can select a SIM to view the SIM Details window.

  3. Choose Diagnose connectivity to open a window showing the connectivity diagnostic tool.

  4. Upon completion of the diagnostic checks, you will receive a summary of information about the connectivity of the SIM.

  5. You can then select Export to export the information displayed on the Diagnose Connectivity screen, or Go to operations to troubleshoot any issues.
