Setting groups

In the Vodafone Business Managed IoT Connectivity Platform, you can attach a specific device to one or more of the preconfigured groups linked to your organisation. However, as elsewhere on the platform, your ability to do this depends on your authorisation level.

To set a group

  1. From the menu on the left of the Vodafone Business Managed IoT Connectivity Platform Dashboard or home page, select SIMs.

  2. This takes you to the SIM List, where you can select a SIM to view the SIM Details window.

  3. Choose Single SIM Operation - Set Group from the dropdown menu that appears when you click on New Action in the top right corner of the SIM Details window. (This action can also be performed by clicking on … next to the name of the SIM in the SIM List.)

  4. Once you have entered the details of the new group to be assigned to the SIM, you will be sent a two-factor SMS authentication code that you must enter to confirm the change.
