Stopping Data Sessions

The Stop Data Session feature allows you to terminate an active data connection on a specified SIM, providing users with direct control over data connectivity.

You can only perform this action when the SIM selected has an active data session to abort.

To stop a data session

  1. From the menu on the left of the Vodafone Business Managed IoT Connectivity Platform Dashboard or home page, select SIMs.

  2. This takes you to the SIM List, where you can select a SIM to view the SIM Details window.

  3. If the SIM in question has an active data session, you can then click on Stop Data Session to abort it. (The next window will show a warning that stopping all active data sessions may cause unexpected behaviour, including the SIM’s device becoming unreachable for data services.)

  4. Choose Stop or Cancel. If you choose Stop, any active data sessions will be aborted, and you should receive confirmation of this – or of a failure to abort – via a pop-up window.
